The 'Price Tag' singer says she is proud to be British as she hands the 2012 BRIT Awards prize to the 'Heaven' singer.
Jessie J presented Emeli Sande with the 2012 BRIT Awards Critics' Choice prize at the nominations ceremony in London this evening (12th January).
The 'Who's Laughing Now' star was the recipient of the same paward last year and was proud to be handing it over to someone who she called "amazing".
The singer arrived on stage with her flowing long black hair and an elegant long dress and announced that she was pleased to hand the award to someone she "loves" and "respects so much".
Emeli was equally affectionate towards Jessie by stating she remembered the singer picking up the same award the year before.
"I was so happy for you, I've followed your story," she confessed to which Jessie replied: "Your voice is amazing."
Emeli then proceeded to perform a powerful and emotional rendition of her forthcoming single 'Next To Me'.
Meanwhile, Jessie has been nominated for a total of three awards at next months BRITs.
She was given the nod in the British Female Artist , Best Single and British Breakthrough categories.
Voting for all of the categories at this year's BRIT Awards has now opened, including the British Single award, which is voted for by listeners of Capital FM.
Each listener who casts a vote for British Single will be entered into a competition to win a pair of tickets to this year's ceremony.
