Jessie J Wins Best Solo Artist At Glamour Women Of The Year Awards 2012

The star-studded event in London also saw Kyle Minogue win an Outstanding Contribution award.

Jessie J was named Best UK Solo Artist at last night's Glamour Women Of The Years Awards 2012 in London.

The 'Who You Are' singer picked up the award in person yesterday (29th May) at the star-studded event at London's Berkeley Square Gardens.

Jessie was presented with the Glamour Award for Best Solo Artist by her fellow coach on The Voice UK will.i.am, and said she was proud to receive the honour. 

"I'm loving that last year I was a girl and this year I'm a woman," Jessie said after picking up the trophy. "I've got my bum out more!" 

Other winner's at last night's Glamour Women Of The Year Awards include Amanda Holden for Best Theatre Actress, Holly Willoughby for Best Presenter and Kylie Minogue who was presented with the Outstanding Contribution gong after 25 years in the pop music industry.

'Domino' singer Jessie's win comes ahead of her scheduled performance at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert next week on 4th June, where she will perform on a line-up alongside the likes of Ed Sheeran, JLS, Elton John and Paul McCartney.

Jessie J is set to launch her newly announced 'Nice To Meet You' UK arena tour on 26th February 2013 with a performance at Nottingham's Capital FM Arena.
