The 'It Girl' star was spotted hugging Jordin Sparks in Los Angeles.
Jason Derulo has appeared in public for the first time since fracturing his neck during rehearsals for his world tour.
The 'It Girl' star was almost left paralyzed when he landed on his head while attempting an acrobatic move earlier this month.
The injury meant Jason was forced to cancel his tour, which had been due to kick off in the UK next month.
Stepping out in public on Thursday (19th January), the singer looked in good spirits as he hugged singer Jordin Sparks while she filmed a commercial.
The 'Whatcha Say' star, who sustained an acute fracture of his vertebra during the incident, was sporting a neck brace around his neck.
In a statement about his injury, Jason said: "To all my fans who planned to come to the 'Future History' world tour, the pain of letting you down cuts me way deeper than this injury I've sustained.
"My fans mean everything to me, so I'm praying for a speedy recovery in order to perform for you in the near future."
