Iggy Azalea Quits Instagram As Well As Twitter After Paps Take Photos Of Her At Home

Iggy has now ditched Instagram as well as Twitter, but her management will look after her accounts.

Uh oh! It’s not like sassy Iggy Azalea to let the haters win, but the ‘Fancy’ star has decided to quit social media entirely, due to the abuse she got from some trolls.

As well as quitting Twitter last month, Iggy has now handed control of her Instagram account over to her management after posting a snap criticising the paparazzi for taking photos of her over a 6 foot blacked out fence on her property. 

Her management also released a statement after Iggy left Insta saying, "Until further notice Iggy's Instagram will be run by management. Iggy is taking a break from social media. She loves all her Azaleans!!"

 

This is me standing in front of my home, which has a 6ft high blacked out fence around it. No one should be made to feel like their own home is a prison because even your garden may be grounds for a photoshoot. I really just want to urge my fans to be aware of what you are enabling when posting these pictures. It is illegal to post images of someone in their home or property with a long range camera. I'm asking in the nicest way possible to please think twice about that. You're home is supposed to be your place of peace. I just want mine to be that too same as everyone else.

The decision to quit Twitter for a while came as Iggy got back from her holiday and saw that people were criticising her bikini snaps – where she looks all kinds of normal and healthy.

While most would agree that Iggy’s bod looks pretty darn amazing in the snaps – that booty doe! – some keyboard warriors decided to body shame Iggy for having the teensiest bit of cellulite.

Iggy hit back on Twitter saying, “Just got back from a great vacation, came online and saw apparently it's shocking and unheard of to be a woman and have cellulite. Lol.”

She then revealed that she would be taking a break from social media because it was too negative at times.

While a few nasty people may have made negative comments about Iggy’s bod, on the whole her fans were appreciative of how incredible her figure actually is.
