The singer has held off competition from Emeli Sande to stay top of the chart.
Gotye has retained his lead on the Vodafone Big Top 40 for the third weekend in a row.
The Belgian-Australian singer-songwriter has made it three weeks at number one with his Kimbra-featuring hit 'Somebody That I Used To Know'.
Fresh from her appearance at the BRIT Awards earlier this week Emeli Sande's third solo single 'Next To Me' remains steady in second place.
Former Big Top 40 topping artist Flo Rida rose to number three this week with his latest hit 'Wild Ones', featuring 'Titanium' vocalist Sia.
Dappy scored the week's highest new entry of the week with his second single 'Rockstar', featuring Queen guitarist Brian May, while DJ Fresh's 'Hot Right Now' falls to five on the chart.
Last weekend Gotye fought off competition from both Emeli Sande and Nicki Minaj's latest single 'Starships' to stay number one on the Big Top 40.
