The 'Call The Shots' stars fans say they can't wait to see the girls reform for this year's Ball.
Girls Aloud fans have been tweeting their excitement about the UK girl band being announced as the surprise addition to this year's Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball.
The 'Something New' five-piece were announced as the final addition to the Sunday line-up of the 2012 ball, and fans said they expect the band to put on the "best" show in December.

Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh are the latest act to be announced for the Sunday line-up of the Jingle Bell Ball, after Pink, The Wanted, Example, Calvin Harris, Rita Ora and Conor Maynard were all confirmed during the first announcement on Saturday (10th November).
Girls Aloud announced their return after a three-year hiatus earlier this year, as seen below:
The 'Call The Shots' stars will make their official return with a new greatest hits collection later this month, followed by a reunion tour in early 2013, and will also release a new single called 'Something New' to mark their reunion.
The Saturday line-up of the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball boasts acts including Bruno Mars, One Direction, JLS, Little Mix, Rizzle Kicks and The Script, as well as a solo set from 'Call My Name' singer Cheryl Cole.
The Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball 2012 will take place on 8th and 9th December.
