The rapper is using his vacation to get to work on next effort.
Example has revealed that he's writing his new album while taking a break in Australia.
The 'Change The Way You Kiss Me' star spoke about the follow-up to 2011's 'Playing In the Shadows' during an appearance on Capital Breakfast today (3rd January).
Although Example's trip to Australia is mainly a holiday, he stressed that he was using the vacation to do some work as well.
"I love my job but I need a couple of weeks to just chill, otherwise I'm going to go mad," he said on the phone from down under.
"I am relaxing on the beach every day and getting a tan and eating good food, but I am writing the next album as well, so I am working a bit."
He also admitted that he regretted tweeting recently that he might not return to the UK.
"I shouldn't have done that because I actually got a few tweets from people saying, 'I've got tickets to your arena tour in April, do I need to get a refund?'," he said.
"And I was like, 'No, still come to the arena show – I'll be back. I love England."
