Emeli Sande's Debut Album 'Our Version Of Events' Goes Platinum

The 'Heaven' singer's first record has sold 300,000 in the two weeks since its release in Britain.
Emeli Sande has thanked fans for their support after her debut album went platinum in the UK.
The 'Daddy' singer launched her first record 'Our Version Of Events' earlier this month (13th February) and the album has already sold over 300,000 copies since its release.
"O.V.O.E – PLATINUM IN THE UK!!!!!!!!!" Emeli tweeted earlier today (29th February). "Thank you ALL!!! Mini celebration in Penn station – Next train to Philly!!"
The 'Next To Me' singer-songwriter also teased fans by saying she is hoping to start writing some new music.
She posted: "I just wanna find a piano and write something… Something good."
Coldplay recently announced that both Emeli Sande and Robyn will support them on their upcoming tour of the US.
