The Spice Girls, Elbow and Jessie J are all enjoying renewed chart success after their performances.
Emeli Sande, One Direction and Jessie J are all enjoying renewed sales success following their performances at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony on Sunday (12th August).
The British music showcase featured a huge range of performers, including the likes of Spice Girls, Ed Sheeran and Elbow, who are all charting highly on both the iTunes live singles and album charts this week, and are expected to perform well on the Vodafone Big Top 40 this weekend.
Emeli Sande performed twice during the closing ceremony as she took to the custom-built stage to perform a piano-led version of her Professor Green collaboration 'Read All About It', which its now at number three on the live chart.
The Scottish singer-songwriter's songs 'Next To Me', 'My Kind Of Love' and 'Abide With Me' are also charting at 33, 62 and 83, respectively, while the 'Heaven' singer's album 'Our Version Of Events is currently sitting at number two on the album chart.

One Direction were one of the most popular performers during Sunday's show, voted as the highlight by Capital FM fans, and since performing 'What Makes You Beautiful' live for the thousands in attendance the single has risen to number 24 while their debut album 'Up All Night' is at the same position on the album rankings.
The music featuring during the Olympics closing ceremony has been released as a special compilation called A Symphony Of British Music: Music For The Closing Ceremony Of The London 2012 Olympic Games, which is currently the company's number one album.
