The 'Lego House' singer enjoys a night on the tiles with a feline friend in the promo for his forthcoming single.
Eh Sheeran has revealed that a cat gets him drunk in the music video for his forthcoming new single.
The 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' songwriter explained that he was encouraged to go wild by the director on set.
Speaking to Capital FM about the video, Ed explained: "A cat takes me out and gets me drunk."
He went on to discuss the directors vision, admitting: "While we were filming it, the director's a bit kinda like bonks and he's very very cool, but he was like 'Ed, you just gotta go mental. I'm quite a reserved chilled guy, and he kept pushing me and pushing me and pushing me and just after a while I snapped and went nuts."
The singer/songwriter also revealed that he ended up spraying a group of extras on the set with beer during filming.
"There's basically a bit with a house party with the cats and these girls come back to the house party and hook up with some of the cats, it's really weird, and I just go a bit nuts."
"I break all the lights, I get a bottle of beer and I spray it all over the girls and afterwards I'm like 'I'm really sorry' – I totally soaked them from head to foot in beer," he added.
This will be Ed's first music video in which he takes a staring role and during filming Ed was busy on his Twitter account to say how much he enjoyed the experience.
Meanwhile, Ed was voted one of the favourite male music stars of 2011 by Capital FM listeners on a list including the likes of One Direction's Harry Styles and Olly Murs.
