The 'A Team' singer says fans can expect his team-up with the 'Midnight Run' rapper to be put out free of charge.
Ed Sheeran has revealed he and Example will put out their joint single for free when the time comes to release the highly anticipated collaboration.
The 'Lego House' singer has revealed he and the 'Changed The Way You Kissed Me' rapper have already recorded a track together, and are now working out when they want to officially release the team-up.
"I've just done a song with Example that we're going to give away for free but we can't work out when we're going to give it for free, because we keep releasing singles and we don't want it to clash with them," Ed revealed exclusively to Capital FM after the Summertime Ball 2012.
The 'Small Bump' singer went on to explain that putting singles out for free is a great idea to keep fans interested in artists, as well as making sure they are still able to tour their music properly.

"Keeping yourself relevant is more important than record sales nowadays, because it all revolves around live shows," Ed explained. "So if you can give out free tunes that get the fans interested, they're going to remain coming to gigs.
"CDs aren't always going to be bought, it's great that they are at the moment, but they aren't always going to be bought," the 'Drunk' singer continued. "The way that American rappers are doing it nowadays is they give out a free mix tape once every six months and tour it, and make their money from touring. That's kind of the way it's going to happen in England in a bit I think."
Fresh from performing live at the Capital FM Summertime Ball Ed headed over to the US this week where he performing his hit single 'The A Team' live on US breakfast show The Today Show.
Ed Sheeran is also celebrating this week after his debut album '+' hit the top spot on the US Billboard Top 200 in its week of release.
