The 'Lego House' singer is back writing and recording for the follow-up to his 2011 debut '+'.
Ed Sheeran has been hard at work on his second album over the past few days, and says he has even managed to sample the Buffy The Vampire Slayer theme on one of the tracks.
The 'Give Me Love' singer is currently out on tour across North America with Taylor Swift, supporting the US star on all 66 of the dates this year, but has been continuing to write songs while on the road.
"Cleaning out the metaphorical closet of song ideas today," Ed tweeted over the weekend. "Everything that is half written gets finished today.
"More half finished songs being finished today," the UK singer-songwriter added on Monday (22nd April), before teasing: "Sampling Buffy The Vampire Slayer in a song. Of course we are."
The popular late nineties cult show featured a well-known theme song from US band Nerf Herder as the opening music of the series.
Last week Ed gave his approval to a new reworked music video to his hit 'Lego House', which sees the original video painstakingly recreated with lego characters instead.
