The 'Lego House' singer decides he will ditch plans to dress down at the BRITs because he is bringing his mum.
Ed Sheeran has revealed that he is on the hunt for a good suit for the BRIT Awards 2012 because he is now bringing his mum to the ceremony.
The 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' star, who is up for a total of four awards on the night, had originally planned to wear jeans and a hoodie but now thinks he should change his plans.
Speaking to the Daily Star he said: "I was just going to rock a hoodie and jeans at the BRITs, but now my mum is coming I'm going to have to get a suit."
As well as his family, the star admitted he owes a close friend an invitation to the event because he let him crash on his sofa for a year.
"I spent a year on my friend Darryl's sofa so he's owed an invite," he added.
Ed will be fighting it out for British Album Of The Year, British Male Solo Artist, British Single and British Breakthrough at the O2 Arena next Tuesday (21st February).
Meanwhile, the singer recently unveiled his full collaborative EP with American rapper Yelawolf 'The Slumdon Bridge' which is available to download now.
