The 'Lego House' star will perform 16-dates across the US and Canada starting later this month as he promotes debut '+'.
Ed Sheeran has confirmed that he will be heading out on a headline North American tour this year.
The 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' star will perform 16 shows starting in New York on 11th June.
The star also opened up about his opportunity to head across the pond for his own solo shows.
"I'm coming to be myself, and hopefully people will like it," he told Reutres. "I think it's great that British acts, in general, not just boy bands and not just Adele ... are getting recognition in America."
The BRIT Award winning star recently finished touring duties with Snow Patrol and was forced to cancel the last few shows due to personal reasons.
Ed has also started work on his new studio album and has been writing with Taylor Swift and Snow Patrol during his time in the US.

Meanwhile, the singer-songwriter will head to Wembley Stadium on Saturday (9th June) for Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2012 performing alongside the likes of Jessie J, The Wanted and Coldplay.
