The 'Bonkers' rapper aims for a rockier sound on his fifth studio record.
Dizzee Rascal has joined forces with Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden on his fifth studio album.
The 'Holiday' rapper is currently in the studio working on the follow up to 2009's 'Tongue N Cheek'.
Benji took to his Twitter account to announce news of the collaboration yesterday (15th December) and promised fans they will be pleased with Dizzee's new direction.
"Man just left @DizzeeRascal studio and he has some fire ready to go strictly for his fans. So cold man, you're all going to love it," he tweeted.
T-Pain told Capital FM recently he is also working with the rapper but refused to rule out whether it would be for the London artist's new album.
Dizzee has previously worked with the Arctic Monkeys and earlier this year admitted he would love to recruit Foo Fighter's frontman Dave Grohl as he looks to develop a harder rock sound to his music.
The as-yet-untitled new album is expected to be released sometime in 2012.
