The 'Rockstar' rapper tells Capitalfm.com he is ready to get his next single out as he plots a chart dominance.
Dappy has confessed that he is determined to get to number one with his new song 'Rockstar' and has his third release from his debut album ready to go.
The 'No regrets' star achieved chart success with his debut single and told Capital that you can only get to the top if the songs are good enough.
Speaking of his new single, which features Queen guitarist Brian May, he said: "I'm gob smacked really to have him on the track. How on earth did I get such a legend on that track I don't know.
"I want to get the third one and have three number one's I'm dying for it. But the thing is you can't - everyone knows - we can't get to number one with music that ain't good.
"We need irresistible music and they're the type of songs that get to number one and we're just trying to maintain it really.
"After this next 'Rockstar' song comes out I've got the third one lined up ready to go and it is completely different to 'Rockstar' and 'No regrets' and it's something for everyone again."
Meanwhile, the star recently revealed he is a massive fan of Ed Sheeran and took to his Twitter account to congratulate him on his BRIT Awards 2012 success.
