The artists will co-headline the special performance in the Big Apple at the end of the year.
Coldplay have confirmed details of a new show taking place with close friend and rapper Jay-Z on New Year's Eve next month.
The 'Charlie Brown' stars will head to New York to perform at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn alongside the '99 Problems' rapper.
The band will also perform their own show at the same venue this day before as they round-off a fantastic 2012.
Back in 2010, the pair also performed a similar co-headline event in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve.
The recently announced shows in New York will also be the band's first since 2005's 'Twisted Logic' tour.
Jay-Z also recently performed an eight-night residency at the venue to mark the re-opening of the sports complex and was joined by wife Beyonce for the final gig.
Meanwhile, Jay-Z was also seen on stage with the band at this summer's closing ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Coldplay will also be releasing their new Live DVD and album later this month on 19th November.
