The US singer makes her comeback with seventh album, which features the new song 'Your Body'.
Christina Aguilera has announced details of her new album 'Lotus'.
The singer's seventh studio album will be released in November, the singer revealed during a discussion with fans on Twitter.
She wrote: "Album title: 'Lotus'. Representing an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives."
"There will be a 'Lotus' intro to set the tone for the whole record. Conceptually I didn't target one particular sound/genre. Self expression and freedom [are album themes]. The album represents a rebirth for me."
The album's first single 'Your Body', produced by Max Martin, was given its first play on Capital FM today (14th September).
The video for the new song will premiere during The Voice USA on Monday – Christina is a judge on the programme.
"There are some beautiful personal ballads on this album. I wouldn't do a record without them," the singer said about the album.
'Lotus' marks Christina's first studio album since 2010's 'Bionic'.
