The R&B star also says it was a "pleasure" to meet and spend time with the 'Rumour Has It' singer.
Chris Brown has thanked Adele for "speaking truth" about their alleged altercation at the Grammy Awards 2013 last weekend (10th February).
The 'Turn Up The Music' singer and 'Someone Like You' star hit headlines this week after a picture appeared to show Adele telling the R&B star off about something during the music industry event.
However, earlier this week Adele posted a rare tweet clarifying the reports and insisting she had actually been complimenting the 'Don't Wake Me Up' singer in the photo in question.
Chris has now taken to Twitter himself to thank the UK singer, as well as saying it had been a "pleasure" to meet her for the first time.
Pleasure to meet u @officialadele I heard your words and thats all that matters. Thank u for speaking truth. CB

'Don't Judge Me' singer Chris also posted a special Valentine's Day message dedicated to all the women in his life.
"HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to all the beautiful women in the world," he posted. "Our Queens…. Our mothers, sisters and daughters. I love you."
