Cheryl Cole Thanks Fans After Reaching Almost Two Million Twitter Followers

The 'Fight For This Love' singer says she is in shock after getting so many people following her account.

Cheryl Cole says she can't believe how many people follow her on Twitter after less than a year on the popular social networking site.

The '3 Words' singer opened her official verified Twitter account back in July 2011 and has gone on to amass almost two million followers in the ten months since she began tweeting regularly.

"Since joining twitter I have developed around 1.2 million little sisters. 500 thousand little bros n approx 200 thousand nosey parkers lmao," Cheryl tweeted earlier today (17th April). "All in under a year... Wowza."

The 'Parachute' singer recently wrapped filming on her new music video in Los Angeles for her brand new single 'Call My Name', which will be the first cut to be released from her currently untitled third studio album.

Cheryl Cole regularly updates her Twitter account to stay in touch with her fan base, and recently admitted she feels like she gets to know a lot of her fans through the website.
