Cheryl Cole To Release New Song "Soon"

The Girls Aloud star looks set to make her musical comeback sooner than fans think.

Cheryl Cole has hinted that she might release a new song soon.

The Girls Aloud star has been working on her as-yet-untitled third solo album with a host of producers, including Alex Da Kid.

But fans have so far been kept in the dark as to when Cheryl's follow-up to 2010's 'Messy Little Raindrops' will be released, although it is expected in 2012.

However, responding to a fan on Twitter, the '3 Words' star suggested that her followers might not have to wait long for new music.

She wrote: "Maybe sooner than you think!!! ;) RT @RaniRaizada @CherylCole When r u gonna give us a new song? I love u!!"

Alex Da Kid has worked with a host of big names in recent years, including Eminem and Rihanna on the song, 'Love The Way You Lie'.
