The 'Messy Little Raindrops' singer is hoping to finish her third studio album by Christmas.
Cheryl Cole landed in Los Angeles this weekend to finish off work on her next release.
The 'Parachute' singer arrived in the US, draped in a giant fur coat, ready to put the final touches on her as-yet-untitled third album.
"Wow. Just got off the plane and see I now have 1,000,245 of you!! Kisses and Welcome," Cheryl tweeted yesterday (27th November), after achieving 1 million followers on the social networking site.
Cheryl is currently working on the follow-up to her 2010 album 'Messy Little Raindrops', and has promised fans she will debut new material sometime in the near future.
"Maybe sooner than you think!" she tweeted last week.
Earlier this month the '3 Little Words' singer was forced to pull out of a charity concert in Manchester where she had been due to perform a duet with Gary Barlow.
Cheryl Cole's third album is expected sometime in 2012.
