The 'Call My Name' singer admits that the girl group could be back together before the year is out.
Cheryl Cole has confessed that Girls Aloud's planned reunion, to mark their ten year anniversary, could take place before Christmas 2012.
The 'Under The Sun' singer told Jonathan Ross that fans could "maybe" see them together before 2013.
The former X Factor judge has been teasing plans for the girl group for the past few months and has been seen out with some of the band – fueling speculation a reunion was imminent.
The five-piece have already been in the recording studio working on new material, and Cheryl recently told Capital the songs are "awesome".
She also gave a hint that one of the new tracks could be called 'I Just Wanna Dance' after Capital presenter James Barr asked for some lyrics from a forthcoming song.
Meanwhile, it is also reported that the '3 Words' star – who recently got into a car crash with manager Will.i.am – will be making a return to The X Factor as a mentor for Gary Barlow's contestants.
Cheryl will also be heading out on her own debut headline UK arena tour next month – which kicks off in Belfast on 3rd October.
