The former Girls Aloud star has been forced to pull out of the show in Manchester later this week.
Cheryl Cole has been forced to cancel her appearance at the Children In Need Rocks gig in Manchester later this week.
The former Girls Aloud singer had been due to perform with The X Factor judge Gary Barlow at the concert at the MEN Arena.
But a spokesperson for Cheryl has confirmed that the star is ill and won't be able to attend the concert.
"Cheryl Cole has sadly had to pull out of a performance at CIN Rocks this week as she is suffering from pharyngitis," the spokesperson said.
Gary admitted earlier today (15th November) that Cheryl was struggling to overcome illness.
The Children In Need Rocks concert is scheduled to feature performances from Barlow as well as Coldplay and Lady Gaga.
Cheryl recently insisted reports of tension between herself and new X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos were completely false and that the N-Dubz singer is "lovely".
This year's Children In Need charity single, a cover of 'Teardrop' by several artists including Tulisa Contostavlos, Labrinth and Ed Sheeran, was officially released on Sunday (13th November).
