Cher Lloyd "So Excited" About US Record Deal With L.A. Reid

The 'Want U Back' singer will make her US debut this month at South By Southwest Festival.

Cher Lloyd says she "cannot wait" to head over to America this year to begin working with Epic Record head L.A. Reid.

The 'Swagger Jagger' singer signed a US record deal with The X Factor USA judge's label earlier this year, after L.A. described Cher's musical sound as "really fresh". 

"I am so excited about going to the States and working with L.A. Reid," Cher said in a statement through UnrealityTV this week. "L.A. is a genius and has been such a great supporter of me. 

The 'With Ur Love' singer is due to make her US debut at the South By Southwest film and music festival later this month.

Cher Lloyd is also expected to confirm current UK single 'Want U Back', featuring The X Factor USA contestant Astro, as her first US single release.
