Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed she is back in the recording studio working on new music following her huge worldwide success with 'Call Me Maybe'.
The Canadian singer-songwriter scored her first UK number one with 'Call Me Maybe' last month, which stayed top of the Vodafone Big Top 40 for three weeks, and is now recording new material for her highly anticipated album.
"Studio day. Working on a newbie. <3," Carly tweeted earlier today (9th May). "Writing and singing and eating chocolate. Good chocolate is essential to music.
The 26 year-old singer also tweeted 'Home Sweet Home' last night suggesting she is back in her home county of British Columbia after a hectic promotional schedule over the past several months.
Since its release Carly's single 'Call Me Maybe' has been memorably spoofed by a number of stars including 'Teenage Dream' singer Katy Perry and actor James Franco.
