The 'Call Me Maybe' singer is working with the 'Party Rock Anthem' stars on a team-up.
Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed she has been writing a new song with LMFAO star Redfoo this week, and admits she feels lucky every day after her newfound success following her recent single 'Call Me Maybe'.
The Canadian singer confirmed she met up with the 'Sexy And I Know It' rapper recently and says the two have been penning a track together over the phone for a potential future team-up.
"It's been a cool day today. I ran into RedFoo from LMFAO at the airport, and we've been writing a song together today. Over the phone," Carly revealed to Billboard this week.
The 26 year-old singer-songwriter says she is incredibly thankful for her newfound success in music and has to pinch herself everyday.
"What I really love about music is that, despite all this craziness, the creative process remains the same," Carly continued. 'And that same exciting feeling that I had before anybody knew me, when I was just beginning to work on 'Call Me Maybe', is the same feeling I had today with RedFoo from LMFAO.
"You can sense the people who really have it are about writing that right word or that right melody to make it lift and make you feel that perfect emotion."
