The 'Call Me Maybe' star says she expects her first album to be finished and ready for release very soon.
Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed that her debut solo album is almost complete and that she is just "wrapping up the loose ends" before announcing an official release date for the highly anticipated record.
The 26 year-old singer-songwriter has scored huge chart success with her breakthrough smash 'Call Me Maybe', which has topped charts around the world including the Vodafone Big Top 40 and the US Billboard Hot 100.
"At this point, my record's almost finished," Carly revealed to MTV News. "It's pretty close, just wrapping up the loose ends.
"I feel like the songs are mostly there, but there's still some production and stuff to be done," Carly teased. "But we're close. We're at the home stretch."

The former Canadian Idol star's debut is expected to feature contributions from the likes of mentor Justin Bieber, Us indie-pop band Fun. as well as a recently penned collaboration with LMFAO's RedFoo.
Carly also discussed Justin Bieber's brand new album 'Believe', which launched last month to huge sales, and revealed her favourite track off the album is 'Die In Your Arms'.
She added: "It's just so like young Michael [Jackson]."
Since rising to fame with 'Call Me Maybe' Carly Rae Jepsen has recently collaborated with Owl City on a new track called 'Good Time'.
