The 'Moonshine' singer has teased details about the promo for his upcoming new single.
Bruno Mars has told fans that the music video for his new single 'Young Girls' will be something he's never done before.
The 'Marry You' singer told MTV News that he is thinking "every day" about the concept for the promo and wants to try something completely new.
"Every day I'm thinking about the video," he said. "Its' going to be something I've never done before, I promise you that."
The US star also revealed that there were no complicated decisions behind releasing the track as the follow up to the Vodafone Big Top 40 number one 'Locked Out Of Heaven'.
"I felt 'Young Girls' was good," he added. "'Locked Out of Heaven' was something brand new I tried in the studio and it felt like the right thing to do.
"None of these things are planned, which one goes first, which one goes second. One day I wake up and I say, 'You know what? I want the world to hear this song that I wrote called 'Young Girls', and I put it out."
Bruno also explained the reason he has a gorilla on the front cover of his new album 'Unorthodox Jukebox', saying the track of the same name was where it all stemmed from.
"On the album 'Unorthodox Jukebox' there's a gorilla on the album cover because I wrote a song called 'Gorilla'," he explained. "And that was the first song we wrote for this album and it really set the tone for the entire project and it kind of became the mascot."
He added: "Why not put it on the cover?"
Meanwhile, Bruno was among the star performers on the line-up of this year's Jingle Bell Ball 2012.
The US star closed the opening night with a hit-packed set including some of his new tracks from the latest record.
