The 'Crazy In Love' singer's upcoming special will feature behind-the-scenes footage and on stage performances.
Beyonce has announced plans to direct and star in a new autobiographical documentary for HBO.
The 'Love On Top' singer will offer fans an insight into her personal life with behind-the-scenes footage as well as some of her most "electrifying" on stage performances.
President of HBO Michael Lombardo said the intention of the new documentary is to reveal "the person" behind the performer.
"Everybody knows Beyonce's music, but few know Beyonce the person," he said in a statement. "Along with electrifying footage of Beyonce on stage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman."
The film will also be streamed via HBO on 16th February, shortly after she makes her appearance at the halftime show of next year's NFL Super Bowl.
Beyonce is believed to have shot some of the included footage for the special on her personal laptop.
The singer is currently working on her new studio album and has been teasing images and inspiration from the studio via her Tumblr page in recent weeks.
