The 'Countdown' star has posted a picture that confirms her involvement with the sporting event.
Beyonce has confirmed she will play the halftime show at the 2013 US Super Bowl after posting a teaser picture on her official website.
Reports emerged yesterday (16th October) that the 'Love On Top' singer was set to sign on to perform on the highly coveted slot, usually watched by over 100 million people, and Beyonce took to her blog last night to confirm the news.
The 'Countdown' star teased the upcoming performance by posting a simple picture of her face with stickers on each cheek featuring the date of 3rd February 2013, the day the SuperBowl XLVII is due to take place.

Earlier this year Madonna gave a spectacular performance at the annual sporting event that also featured appearances from the likes of Nicki Minaj, LMFAO and M.I.A.
Beyonce is currently back writing and recording for the follow-up to her 2011 album '4', after she and husband Jay-Z welcomed their first child at the start of this year.
The '99 Problems' rapper recently denied claims Beyonce is pregnant with their second child, and she joined him on stage earlier this month in Brooklyn for a surprise performance of 'Crazy In Love'.
The Super Bowl XLVII is due to take place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on 3rd February, 2013.
