Adele Pregnant: Singer Confirms She Is Expecting First Baby

The 'Someone Like You' star announces the news that she is having a child with boyfriend Simon Konecki.
Adele has today (29th June) announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
The 'Rolling In The Deep' star took to her official website to confirm the news to the world that she and boyfriend Simon Konecki are expecting their first baby together.
"I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," she wrote on her site.
"I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time," she added.
Rumours began circulating earlier this year that she was engaged with Simon after she was spotted sporting a ring – something which she later denied on her Twitter account.
The couple went public with their relationship earlier this year and the BRIT and Grammy Award winning star spoke during an interview with NBC about how happy she was with the Brighton man.

Meanwhile, Adele is rumoured to be working on the theme tune to the new James Bond film Skyfall.
The star was also called as the "bright spot" of pop music by Soundgarden frontman and soundtrack star of the 007 film Casino Royale earlier this week.
Adele's '21' continues to perform well around the world and recently notched up its 24th week atop the US Billboard chart.
