The '21' singer shows no signs of slowing down following her Grammys success.
Adele has played down fans' fears that she is set to take an extended break from music.
In the latest issue of American Vogue, the '21' singer was quoted as saying she wanted five years off to focus on romance before working on the follow-up to her Grammy Award-winning album.
"I am f**king off for four or five years," she said. "If I am constantly working, my relationships fail."
But Adele, who won six awards at the Grammys in Los Angeles last weekend, has now revealed that she is about to start recording new music.
"I’ve a few days off now, and then it’s the Brit Awards here at home and then I’m straight into the studio," she wrote on her official blog.
"BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!"
Meanwhile, Adele admitted her success at last weekend's Grammys had left her "absolutely flabbergasted".
