The 'Set Fire To The Rain' singer says she is honoured after being nominated in six categories at the prestigious music industry event.
Adele has admitted she is "speechless" after being nominated for six awards at last week's Grammy nominations ceremony (30th November).
The 'Set Fire To The Rain' singer is up for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Short Form Music Video for her single 'Rolling In The Deep', Best Solo Performance for 'Someone Like You' and both Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for her second studio album '21'.
"I'm completely and utterly lost for words," Adele told The Sun this week. "A couple of days after finally being able to talk again I'm speechless.
"This has been the best year as it is, but to end 2011 with this incredible achievement and honour is beyond anything I can express.
On Monday (5th December) it was confirmed Adele's '21' has overtaken Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black' to become the biggest selling UK album of the century with record sales of 3.4 million.
In November the 'Someone Like You' singer confirmed she is "on the mend" following surgery to repair damage on her vocal chords.
